6 months agoThe place is clean, I love the tables inside, and the Malika drink was tasty. Their baguettes are fresh, and all their baked goods are fresh as well. They offer sandwiches at very good prices, and all of their bakery items are affordable. The staff is kind, polite, and helpful.

4 months agoMy almond croissant was amazing! Probably the best almond croissant I've ever had. And their other pastries looked great too -- i had to refrain from buying one of everything hahah! Employees were pretty nice. Cute cafe with wifi!

7 months agoWe tried Trompeau Bakery + Café for the first time on a warm Sunday late morning in November and grabbed a seat on the patio with our pup. There was live music, unexpected and perfectly fitting for a slow weekend morning. We ordered a cinnamon roll, apple croissant, brewed coffee, and an almond cinnamon chausson. Honestly? They were fine. Not bad, not great. Maybe a Sunday batch that snoozed through its alarm. For 25$, we just hoped for a bit more freshness (and yes, Elena5151’s review was unfortunately on point). Still, the atmosphere made up for it. The place carries that unmistakable European café energy: nonchalant, effortlessly detached, and stylishly proud, with just enough fragrance from the visitors out front to make you wonder if “Eau de Europe” is intentional. The staff were helpful in that classic French way: present, efficient, and perfectly uninterested in whether you are having a nice day. Somehow, it adds to the charm and suits the place beautifully. It is locally owned, which gives it a grounded charm you will not find at the big chains. We will definitely go again, probably midweek, to see if the 5-star crowd caught it on a fresher day. Either way, it is a lovely corner of Denver where you can linger over a croissant and pretend you are late for nothing. Moses recommends Trompeau Bakery + Café.

a year agoThe Trompeau Bakery + Cafe never disappoints. A must stop every time I am heading downtown. I specially go down Broadway to get an amazing croissant for breakfast and a French baguette for the road. Always busy- always good!!
