a month agoIt's really hard to find an autoshop you can trust with an aged car and not much to spend on repairs. I've been to 4 in the last 3 months, and finally took my car to Autotek today. I was a customer at the old location long ago and didn't realize a new location had been opened. Josh has been a godsend. Just as caring, knowledgeable and honest as a person could be, not to mention extremely patient with my neurotic, chaotic energy, resulting from the frustrating experiences I've had with other shops recently. All 3 of the service managers up front (Josh, Letetia and Chris) were as kind and helpful as can be, and just made me want to become a loyal returning customer. Every phone call i make with extra questions, I'm met with such kindness. I was told the truth, they looked into everything they said they would and 100% did NOT try to push me into any unnecessary repairs or services, they just wanted to help me figure out the issues with my car and make sure I'm safe driving it. I really can't express in words how much it means to feel valued and taken care of, by most any company these days. If you want to be treated right and looked out for, this is the place to go. Thank you Saul's Autotek

4 months agoYelp Review – Sal’s Auto Tech, Centennial, CO I’ve never had a more traumatic automotive experience in my life. On March 4, 2026, I drove my 2007 RAV4 to Sal’s Auto Tech for a simple battery and alternator replacement. My car is my lifeline and income source, and at the time, my temporary home. I called the shop that morning; Audrey was friendly but told me I’d need to bring the car in for an estimate. I arrived around 10 AM, waited an hour in the office, then the mechanic took me to the shop — my car was already lifted on the hoist. Instead of focusing on my simple request, the mechanic spent hours inspecting tires, brakes, suspension, and the underside, ignoring me repeatedly. I eventually asked about the price for the battery and alternator. The mechanic acted offended, and another employee quoted $1,700. I did not pay — the work wasn’t done. Then I was told a piece of my radiator had been broken by their mechanic. They said it could be fixed the next morning. I asked if I could stay in the parking lot safely overnight — they refused. When I requested my property back, they called the police and had me trespassed. I was humiliated, scared, and forced to drive 7 miles to a Walmart parking lot to sleep safely. The next morning, I towed my car back to the shop ($190). I met with Sal, gave him the broken radiator piece, and he was rude, dismissive, and baffled that their mechanics had broken it. He told me I was trespassed and could not stay near the property. Even after two days, the radiator was still not properly repaired — just topped off. On March 6, they sent me a handwritten note falsely blaming me for radiator damage. The accusations were completely false and misleading, adding stress on top of an already humiliating situation. I drove 10 miles to Denver, and the temperature gauge went immediately red. I went straight to Jiffy Lube, where within five minutes, they discovered the lower radiator hose had never been connected, spilling coolant everywhere. They fixed it promptly, refilled the radiator, and confirmed my car was safe. During this entire ordeal, I lost income every day, was ignored, dismissed, and gaslit, and experienced fear and humiliation from being trespassed and blamed. The shop clearly took their time because they knew I couldn’t confront them on-site, and their attitude made it clear they found my distress amusing. My experience was not just bad service — it was emotionally traumatic, financially damaging, and completely unprofessional. If you rely on your car for work, safety, or even basic transportation, do not go to Sal’s Auto Tech. They broke my property, refused to take responsibility, involved the police unnecessarily, and left me stranded. I cannot overstate the stress, fear, and frustration I endured. Honest, competent mechanics at Jiffy Lube resolved the issue in minutes — something Sal’s could have done immediately. Avoid this shop entirely.

8 months agoDealing with mechanic shops it was the worst experience of my life. I brought in one of multiple estimates from other shops and RYAN, at Sal's Automotive in Centennial, CO, said he could do better than the other companies. I end up paying 60% more ($3,199.00) for the pitman arm, torsion bar and trailer plug. My truck was damaged in their care. The running bar was completely destroyed and Ryan refused to take responsibility or pay for the damage. I plan to pursue my property damages through a law suit. Unfortunately I can do nothing about the rude, disrespectful, unprofessional manner in which I was treated.

a month agoI cannot recommend Josh at Saul’s Automotive highly enough. He performed a complete inspection and diagnostic evaluation on my vehicle at absolutely no cost, and despite it being a free service, he treated it with the same level of care and attention that I would expect from a paid expert witness inspection. Josh spent well over an hour thoroughly examining the vehicle, taking detailed photos, documenting his findings, and providing clear notes on every issue he found. What impressed me most was that he knew from the beginning that we were not there to purchase repairs or services. We needed the inspection strictly for legal documentation, and he understood there would be no profit coming from our visit. Even so, he went above and beyond to make sure we had accurate, thorough, and professional documentation. That level of integrity is rare. It showed me that Josh genuinely cares about helping people, not just making a sale. If you’re looking for an honest mechanic who takes pride in his work and truly puts people first, Josh is the person to see. Thank you again for your time, professionalism, and kindness.

a month agoI had high hopes for Saul's Autotek but unfortunately I don't think they'll be my shop. I brought in our 2018 Yukon for an oil change and full PM. Transmission, spark plugs, differentials, and some other recommended services. After bringing it home it was shaking a bit when idling. I brought it back in and said it sounded like the spark plugs based on the symptoms. They looked and did detect a misfire but said the spark plugs were fine. Recommended a fuel injection cleaning ($326) then a retest. This didn't clear the problem. The next step was to remove the heads off the engine to check for a broken valve. This was going to cost about $1600. I called a friend who knows cars and he offered to give them a call. After the call they did (thankfully) what he suggested and found a bad spark plug. It worked out in the end but only because I had someone to consult with. I don't think this was an intentional scam but I do question their competence and ability to troubleshoot.
