Denver Mixers and Morsels

I hired Denver Mixers & Morsels to cater a party in the city at the ESP Vinyl Lounge. They did a great job of listening to our desires for the party and offered an amazing selection so that we could get just the right combination of choices for a stand-up cocktail party. They hit a home run. They were prompt, clean and the food that was delivered was perfect. The hot offerings tasted very fresh and our guests commented on the unique and delicious menu. I cannot thank Brendon and Rachel enough for making our big celebration a complete success!

We worked with Mixers and Morsels to cater food for a 15-person bridal shower at my parent’s house! From the moment we spoke to Aaron, we knew it would be a great experience! The business is family owned and very intentional about working with you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for without crazy expense. Aaron was very easy to get in contact with when we had questions. His brother, the chef, was also easy to get in contact with the day of the event. We decided to go with the Italian Dinner Menu but swapped in stuffed shells for another item on the menu we weren’t as interested in. As a whole, we got chicken, polenta, stuffed shells, vegetable medley, and a salad. We also got the assorted dessert bars for dessert. The whole process was super easy! The day of the event, Zach came and set everything up. While I wasn’t around to watch the set up, my future-mother-in-law was and said she was impressed with how detail oriented he was in setting everything up in a way that made the most sense and making sure not to forget anything. After leaving, the food was out for a bit while people arrived and settled in. I was afraid the food would be cold by the time we got to it, but the delivery package with the burners underneath and pans worked like a charm! The food was still very warm even after sitting out for a bit and everything was delicious! We got lots of compliments on the food! Even my Dad after the party asked about the company when he was eating the leftovers! Overall, we were very please and satisfied with everything and will definitely be using them for future events where we need catering!

Catering with Chef Brendon was a dream come true from day one. He was incredibly responsive and "got" our vision for a Spanish tapas catered wedding in our backyard for 60. He was great to work with as we ironed out details for the day. When the evening arrived, the food came in delicious waves and was perfection, with several guests commenting that it was the best wedding food they had ever had! We agree! It was a completely stress-free experience for us as bride and groom even though the wedding was at our home. We were so proud to share Brendon's food with our friends and family. He was able to thoughtfully cater the menu to accommodate some dietary restrictions, too. His staff were attentive as well, helping a guest on crutches up the stairs, keeping the wine flowing, even floofing my dress as I walked down the aisle - not a task I expected from the catering team, but they stepped up with kindness wherever they saw a need. And did I mention the food??? One of the most memorable meals of my life. I could not recommend Mixers and Morsels enough!

Chef Brendon is brilliant in the kitchen! He’s cooked for us several times for up to 35 people at our home and friends are asking when is the next event! He is very professional and I recommend him for any occasion.

Brendon, Aaron and the team at Mixers & Morsels recently catered my holiday party for 30+ people and I was so impressed by their professionalism and the amazing food!
