    2025-November 🚫 Unprofessional and misleading experience at Zone Athletic Club Sotuhlands🚫 This happened to my daughter, and I witnessed the entire situation unfold. She and her husband signed up for a monthly membership at the end of October and were immediately charged. They were reassured—multiple times—that their next billing date would be November 17, not November 3, and were told to ignore the contract’s listed date. To be safe, they even went into the gym on November 2 to confirm again. Once more, they were told they would not be charged on November 3. And yet, on November 3, they were charged $45. When they called on November 4, they were told the manager (Caleb) wasn’t available but would call them. Later that day, the front desk claimed he had already called—despite the fact that my daughter was literally waiting by her phone and never received any call. When they followed up again, they were told it was a “misunderstanding” and that the employee who gave them the wrong information was simply “mistaken.” No apology. No accountability. Still charged. They were misled, billed after being told they wouldn’t be, and then brushed off with excuses. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. 👉 As a Level 8 Google reviewer, I take my feedback seriously—and I very rarely give 1-star reviews. But this experience absolutely warrants it. It’s not just frustrating—it’s a breach of trust. If clear communication and integrity matter to you, think twice before signing up.

    Extremely frustrating experience. My husband and I signed up at the end of October for a monthly membership and were immediately billed that day. We were assured multiple times that our next billing date would be 11/17, not 11/3, and were told to ignore the date listed on the contract. Just to be safe, we even went into the gym on 11/2 to double-check, and were once again told we would not be billed on 11/3. Sure enough, we were charged $45 on 11/3 anyway. We were flat-out misled, charged after being told we wouldn’t be, and then brushed off with excuses. Completely unprofessional and disappointing.

    Scummy business practices. They make it very difficult to cancel and when you do cancel they are still going to charge you again because "changing membership takes 30 days to go into effect." I'd recommend taking your business to a gym that cares a little less about every dollar and a little more about people and their customers. I will never be a Zone customer again and neither should you.

    At first I really enjoyed this gym. It was nice to have the classes, sauna, massage chair and was decently clean. But when I had to cancel my membership after my contract was up, then it became a nightmare. Trying to contact the person that was in charge, Caleb, was a joke. After multiple times trying to call or stopping by catch him without any resolutions because conveniently he was was not in and never returned any messages. I finally had enough and told the front desk that I wasnt leaving until I saw him. That is what finally worked and after almost 2 months of my time, and still getting charged, I was able to get my memebership canceled. I understand there are guidelines to follow but this organization takes advantage of their members.

    I've been a member at Zone for over 5 years now. I initially signed up with Caleb, who still works at the club. He was very informative and helpful and made me feel welcome right away. My experience there continues to be awesome. Everyone always greets you with a smile and a goodbye when entering and leaving. The equipment is always clean and in working order. They have a variety of machines to help with each workout and also continue to bring in new equipment for continuous improvement. Great team and overall experience!
